History or His-Story??
History is fixed isnt it, whereas Science is always changing. History can be repeated but can never be changed. Thankfully I had completed my history classes before the governments brought out different textbooks with a "new" history in them. Even now you will come across in newspapers that a state govenment is changing the history textbooks, mainly to woo a particular section of the Junta to garner votes.
How this post crop up, well yesterday I visited the orkut profile of 'a genius mind' Abhishek Singh, who recently met with an unfortunate accident leading to his untimely demise. My heartiest respect to this great soul. Well there was a community in his profile called "Itz TejoMahalaya, not TajMahal" and from it I read the following page::
The True Story of the Taj Mahal
It states with proofs exactly 110, that Taj Mahal is not tomb but a shiva temple. It says the Taj Mahal is not even built by Shah Jahan. Have you seen the "conspiracy theory" documentary on the "US Lunar Mission". How it shows with proofs that the US government did not really send any man to moon. Some of the points that they make forces me to think whether the history is as had happened or his-story.
